Two bands that fully embrace the great traditions of Mexican music, Los Askis and Los Angeles Azules, perform five tracks each on this compilation. Both bands draw on the talents of many musicians--Los Angeles Azules often has as many as 15 people on stage when they play--to create a jubilant, upbeat atmosphere.
