Andrea Chenier

Twenty years after his first performance, superstar tenor Placido Domingo starred in the title role of Giordano's ANDREA CHENIER. As the tragic soldier-hero Chenier, Domingo is at once tender, emotional, and powerful. Soprano Gabriela Benackova turns in an equally stellar performance as Chenier's love interest. The production was aptly conducted by Zednick Santi and performed in Vienna.
