Bamboozled (New Line Platinum Series)

In Spike Lee's stunning social satire, Damon Wayans stars as Pierce Delacroix, a young African-American network executive whose boss (Michael Rapaport) orders him to come up with a hot, trend-setting, urban hit. With the help of his assistant, Sloan (Jada Pinkett-Smith), a homeless tap dancer (Savion Glover) and his sidekick (Tommy Davidson), Delacroix creates "Mantan The New Millennium Minstrel Show." Delacroix is sure this outrageous stunt will get him fired, but his plan backfires. The show becomes a runaway hit and the subject of much controversy. Now he's surrounded by the trappings of success and cornered on all sides by critics. As he tries to defend his actions, he sets in motion a chain of events that lead to an explosive conclusion.
