A sequel to CREST OF THE STARS, BANNER OF THE STARS picks up where its predecessor left off, just as the war between the Mankind and the Abh Empire kicks into high gear. In the midst of this struggle is Jinto Lin, who has fallen in love with the Abh Princess Lafiel. In these episodes, the couple find themselves fighting a political battle just as a real battle between the main fleet and the Empire is beginning. Desperately needing a means of escape, Jinto and Lafiel place their trust in a small ship named the Basroil.
