Bars Of Hate

This drama from 1937 gets off to a shocking start when a woman, Ann Dawson, has her handbag snatched as she strolls down the street. The handbag contains a letter that could clear the name of her brother, who awaits execution on death row. While frantically searching for the bag, Dawson also has to fend off the criminal who is guilty of the crime for which her brother is imprisoned, as the time for the execution draws perilously close.
