Beach Caf?i> stars Ouassini Embarek, the talented young, French actor who stars in the theatrical release A Tout De Suite, the controversial hit Baise-moi, and Picture This! Home Video's own Breakin' Out. He won the award for Best Actor a the Sochi (Russia) International Film Festival for his stunning performance in Beach Caf?i>.

Beach Caf?i> explores the relationship between a charismatic young man and a bitter caf?wner. They very independent Driss (Embarek) lives in his car and supports himself by driving tourists around Morocco or selling fish. One day, while hanging out at the beach with his girlfriend, he stumbles upon a run-down caf?Almost immediately, he is drawn to its intriguing owner, Fouad (famed French writer/director/actor Jacques Nolot), a recluse with a weakness for women.

Despite Fouad's aloofness, Driss makes every effort to build a friendship with the older man. While Driss' friends tell him he is wasting his time on Fouad, the young man persists in trying to win him over, offering Fouad small gifts and services. Underhanded, treacherous and sometimes dangerous, Fouad turns out to be the worst friend ever. Fouad question's Driss' manhood and accuses the young man of being to eager to please. Before he knows it, Driss finds himself caught up in rumors and situations as complex and fascinating as the seductive sights and sounds of Morocco.
