Beethoven - Eroica / John Eliot Gardiner, Orchestre Revolutionnaire Et Romantique

This period drama takes Beethoven fans back to the momentous day on which audiences first heard Eroica--or as it is also known--Symphony No.3. Set in 1804 Vienna, the film follows Beethoven (played convincingly by Ian Hart) as he prepares to unveil his grand masterpiece to a select group of listeners at the Lobkowitz Palace in June of that year. BEETHOVEN-EROICA features a full performance of the symphony conducted by Sir John Eliot Gardiner.
