Taking place in a future where a deadly virus is terrorizing Tokyo, BETTERMAN finds the fate of the world resting in the hands of two mysterious do-gooders. One is the shadowy Akamatsu Industries, an organization disguised as a machine factory that actually fights the virus with neurally enhanced weapons. The other is Betterman, a lone warrior dedicated to saving the citizens of his beloved metropolis. In these episodes, Betterman continues to keep his eye on the Akamatsu team as they use state of the art mechas in their battle against Algernon. However, Betterman's secrets are preoccupying some of the Akamatsu team, and unearthing them may cost everyone involved their lives.
