Betterman, Vol. 3: Seeds Of Death

Taking place in a future where a deadly virus is terrorizing Tokyo, BETTERMAN finds the fate of the world resting in the hands of two mysterious do-gooders. One is the shadowy Akamatsu Industries, an organization disguised as a machine factory that actually fights the virus with neurally enhanced weapons. The other is Betterman, a lone warrior dedicated to saving the citizens of his beloved metropolis. In these episodes, the Akamatsu team discovers the the mysterious Animus Flower in the Ajanta caves in India, giving them more information in their fight against Algernon. Unfortunately, the team runs into a roadblock on their quest almost immediately when they find a new breed of genetically engineered creatures that even Betterman seems powerless against.
