Cadfael - One Corpse Too Many

Based on Ellis Peters' mystery novels set in 12th-century England, the Cadfael series casts Derek Jacobi as an herbalist monk who employs his considerable sleuthing skills to unravel medieval mysteries. In this episode, Cadfael's monastery is called upon to bury 94 rebel soldiers executed as enemies of the King. But when Cadfael counts 95 bodies, the man of the cloth suspects a covert murder and sets out to solve the mystery of the extra corpse.
