Chanoc: Las Tarantulas/El Tigre Y El Vampiro/El Circo Union/La Isla De Los Muertos

The popular Mexican comic book hero Chanoc springs to life in these four Spanish-language action comedies from the 1970s. Actor German Valdes portrays the character in the early '70s films LAS TARANTULAS (1973) and EL TIGRE Y EL VAMPIRO (1972), both of which feature Chanoc's pet tiger. Then Ramon Valdez takes over the reins in the late '70s installments EL CIRCO UNION (1979), in which Chanoc goes to work for a circus and finds himself battling a mysterious crime syndicate; and LA ISLA DE LOS MUERTOS (1975), in which he becomes stranded on a desert island after a boating accident and tangles with local cannibals. All four films are in Spanish without subtitles.
