Based on a popular Japanese video game, DIAMOND DAYDREAMS is an ennui-laced anime series about the vicissitudes of modern love. Created by Oiji Hiroi (SAKURA WARS), directed by Bob Shirohata (GRAVITATION), and animated by Studio Deen (FRUITS BASKET), the well-pedigreed anime follows the unrelated tales of six lovelorn women during one particularly snowy winter on the northern Japanese island of Hokkaido. This third volume continues the series with episodes 8-12, which center on Shoko, a radio talk-show host who is having an affair with a married man, and Akari, a put-upon daughter caring for her ill, alcoholic father.
