How far do you have to go to go too far for television? Disinformation found out when it got its own show on UK's Channel 4 network. DisinfoTV, hosted by Richard Metzger, is what happens when "60 Minutes" reaches for the meth pipe, making "Jackass look tame" by Wired Magazine's standards. The show sent Channel 4's censors into panic on first airing, resulting in the network hacking out substantial parts of Metzger's counterculture mindbomb. What did eventually make it into people's homes was an instant hit and classic of the weird and unusual. Eventually bought by the Sci-Fi Channel, it was considered too controversial and never aired in the United States. Collected here in full, uncut form for DVD is the show as it was originally intended to be seen.
