These are the days of Intifada in Israel: suicide bombing, counter attacks, overwhelming tension and anxiety. Haim, a director/playwright has promised a new play to the theater producers. But the emotional effects of the political situation have resulted in writer's block and a deteriorating relationship with his TV documentary-director girlfriend. So Haim employs a private detective to confirm his suspicions of her unfaithfulness. Without knowing it, the detective becomes the real author of the play that the director is creating from the pages of "real life." The director's life, the play he begins to write, and the reports he receives from the detective interweave until reality becomes unclear.
