In 1981, Atlanta was terrorized by the brutal Atlanta Child Murders. A shocked and panicked nation launched the largest manhunt in U.S. history. A lone man was accused and convicted, and the case was closed. Four years later, though, a magazine editor and his best reporter investigate charges that the original investigation was marred by incompetence, abandoned leads and tainted evidence. It seems only the truth will silence the lingering echo of murder.
