A few years ahead in a desolate world finds three friends who get stuck in the midst what seems like ill fate. After getting his hands on the prototype of a machine designed to change time by signaling the past, Mick describes the machine's capabilities to his friends Lenny and Sarah. On the lam from personal demons, the group follows a failed plan to get away from their own destinies by trying to cheat time. Soon, they all end up in a race against time, trying their best to escape a bleak future.
