Gada Meilin (Mandarin)

Director Feng Xiaoning continues his series of epics about Chinese history with a story of heroism in GADA MEILIN. At the turn of the 20th century, Mongolia was still very much locked in an agricultural, feudal way of life. Gada Meilin is a tribal chieftain thrust into the pages of history when he organizes the squabbling clans of the region to resist another leader who has sold part of their farmland to the invading Japanese. In the course of his struggles against the forces of greed and injustice, Gada Meilin became a hero and native legend to the Mongolian people. GADA MEILIN won numerous awards at Chinese Film Festivals.
