Garfield And Friends, Volume Three

A collection of episodes featuring everyone's favorite fat cat, Garfield, this set is a cornucopia of lasagna, pie, and the endearing adventures that made this one of the longest-running Saturday morning cartoons. The show shared a slot with US ACRES, another cartoon drawn by Jim Davis, about the lives of a group of farm animals led by Orson Pig. The animals spend their days avoiding Orson's mean older brothers and getting in and out of trouble, much of which stems from the pranks of jokester Roy Rooster. All of the characters appear in this collection, which includes over 40 episodes. In "The Legal Eagle, Orson lays down the law and appoints Roy as deputy; unfortunately the power goes to his head, and Roy begins to indiscriminately arrest everyone. Garfield is sick in "Fill in Feline," so in his stead, the producer puts Nermal in the cartoon. The action is fraught with hilariously overt errors in "Mistakes Will Happen," and Jon's uncle comes for a visit and stays far too long in "The Thing that Stayed Forever." Finally, in "An Egg Citing Story," Orson answers the question on everybody's mind when he tells the tale of the gang's introduction to Sheldon.
