Ghostly Grins

Topper ReturnsCosmo Topper (Roland Young) plays detective in a haunted house, aiding ghostly Gail Richards (Joan Blondell), who was murdered while vacationing at the home of her wealthy friend Ann Carrington (Carole Landis), the intended victim. Despite protestations from his wife Clara (Billie Burke), Topper and Gail set out to find her killer and keep Ann from a similar fate. But will the murderer be revealed from among the house servants, guests and the family.

Spooks Run Wild
The Bowery Boys are sent to a summer camp in the country against their will. At night they sneak out, Peewee is shot by gravedigger, and they are forced to seek aid at an old mansion. It turns out to be the castle of Nardo (Bela Lugosi) and his dwarf henchman (Angelo Rossitto). Convinced that Nardo is a vampire, they seek the help of famed "monster hunter" Von Grosch (Dennis Moore). Lugosi's performance is humorous while remaining completely respectful of his Count Dracula persona.

King of the Zombies
A WWII plane is blown off course and running low on fuel. Guided by a faint radio signal, the passengers (Dick Purcell & Mantan Moreland) and the pilot take refuge in an island mansion owned by Dr. Mikhail Sangre (Henry Victor). Exploring, the three find a voodoo ritual where Sangre is aiding Hitler by turning Allies into zombies to gather defense information.
