A key band in the heavy metal explosion of the 1980s, Germany's Helloween overcame adversity, personal tragedy, and myriad line up changes to create a solid career for themselves. Vocalist Andi Deris compiled this collection of promotional videos by the band, demonstrating their considerable talents as songwriters and performers; they even helped start a new strain of hard rock called "power metal." After their fleeting moment in the spotlight Helloween fell out of favor with the American public, but found latter day fame in Japan, where 21st century metalheads flocked to the band and continued to send their albums soaring up the charts.
