LANCELOT LINK - SECRET CHIMP is surely one of the more inventive and outlandish shows to hit television. It was also, for two years, a phenomenal success. With an entire cast made up of costumed chimpanzees, and one of the largest budgets (up to that point) for a Saturday show, LANCELOT LINK spoofed spy films and the James Bond franchise. As an agent for A.P.E. (Agency to Prevent Evil), Lance Link battled the nefarious schemes of Baron Von Butcher and C.H.U.M.P. (Criminal Headquarters for Underworld Master Plan). The show also featured psychedelic rock performances by the all-chimp band Evolution Revolution. This release contains both seasons of the show.
