Max Linder was a huge influence on a whole generation of comedians, his slapstick approach to comedy heavily rubbing off on everyone from the Marx brothers, to Abbott and Costello. This release features Max's 1921 film SEVEN YEARS BAD LUCK, available for the first time on DVD. Hilarity ensues when Max's butler smashes a mirror, leading to his cook attempting to impersonate Max in the broken frame in an attempt to cover-up the unfortunate accident.
