Shih-kuang hone, a kung-fu student of shaolin, is an insurgent against the manchu rulers. A fellow student, nigh-erh ma betrays him by reporting this to the authorities. Hong's whole family is arrested and later beheaded. Hong kills ma in revengeand escapes with his youngest son, man-ting, to nowhere land.
