The second season of MKR begins with Hikaru, Umi, and Fuu back at home in Tokyo, after having rescued Princess Emeraude which enabled them to leave Cephiro. The three girls are summoned back to that mystical land once more, and must discover who summoned them as well as find a new pillar to keep Cephiro from completely disintegrating.
