At the tender age of 26, jazz legend Chick Corea joined with bass prodigy Miroslav Vitous and drum genius Roy Haynes in recording an album so fresh and original that it forever redefined modern jazz. The Now He Sings, Now He Sobs Trio album was Corea's career breakthrough album. His fellow band members also took their places in the jazz firmament. Vitous became one of the founding members of the jazz "supergroup" Weather Report, and Haynes provided the distinctive rhythms for the music of such renowned artists as Miles Davis and Dizzy Gillespie. With a passion for musical adventure as strong as ever, the trio reunites for the first time in many years at New York City's famed Blue Note jazz club as part of a GRAMMY-winning musical retrospective of Corea's four-decade career, recorded in High-Definition Video and CD-quality sound.
