Lee is sent from her home in Asia to come and work in America for someone she doesn't even know. She sends money back home to care for her family and ailing grandmother. Her world becomes the dark streets and back alleyways of Chinatown.

In the restaurant where she works, one hilarious busboy tries to be her hero, another simply wants to seduce her. A stranger arrives and just wants to help her but ends up tied in a web of lies, lust and old traditions. His life is put on the line for her and she struggles to discover herself with each step closer to him. A lavish banquet is the final showdown, dark secrets are revealed and the fight for freedom is on!
