Shep Franco, a video enthusiast, happens upon a tape highlighting the crazy invention of mad scientist Artemis Winthrop. Even though warned not to, Shep and his friends set out to find and restore the invention. Things go haywire when a small but horrible mistake turns Shep into an evil monster.
