When New York cops run numbers running Clyde out of town, he decides to head to Los Angeles to help out a buddy who is in too deep with the mafia. After he and his friend Roscoe's efforts to clear Roscoe's name go awry, they decide to try and make the necessary money by reviving a failing restaurant. Their plan is to devise the recipe for the most delicious chicken and waffles anyone has every tasted...but their time is running out!
