18 years after it ended, the two-time Emmy-winner SCTV Network/90 – Vol. 1 is available to own for the first time, in a 5-disc DVD boxset. This volume features comedy’s brightest northern lights: Eugene Levy, Joe Flaherty, Rick Moranis, Andrea Martin, Catherine O’Hara, Dave Thomas and the late John Candy.

In 1977, Canadian-produced SCTV began as a 30-minute sketch show. It ran in syndication in the U.S. for several years. In 1981 it was picked up by NBC in a 90-minute format. It ran for 2 years and was seen by millions of viewers weekly. This first box set covers the first 9(Cycle 1 as it was referred to in Canada) 90-minute episodes and includes tons of extras.
