Un Corazon Para Dos

The greatest hope of two lovers is to become one, a miracle realized in this touching story of love and sacrifice. Valeria (Daniela Leites) her fianc Javier, and her neighbor Bernardo (Pedro Fernandez) are all great friends. Young and attractive, they have their whole lives ahead of them. But the future may not be as bright as it appears. Valeria is under a doctor's care for a heart condition. Still, she keeps a positive outlook, especially when she receives flowers every day from her secret admirer. Bernardo suffers from frequent headaches following an auto accident that claimed the lives of his parents. He now lives on the ranch of his grandfather, Don Francisco. Padre Jos, a close friend of both families, watches over the youngsters in their time of need, often with the help of Niko, an orphan the priest has raised from an infant. Bernardo, despite the pleading of his grandfather, refuses to go away to college. He insists it is because he doesn't want to leave Don Francisco to run the ranch by himself, but the real reason might be his secret love for Valeria. Padre Jos knows about Bernardo's torment and recommends that he tell Valeria how he feels, believing she probably feels the same way. Bernardo, however, chooses to wait until he sees a doctor about his ever-worsening headaches. Valeria's health is also in jeopardy, and though her family tries to keep it a secret, Bernardo soon learns the truth. Now he must make a decision that could bring them together forever, even though it will break the hearts of the people he cares about the most.
